Welcome to Treasure Valley Finish!

My name is Jake Tewalt, and I am the owner and main Carpenter for Treasure Valley Finish. I strive to work with everyone that has an idea for their home, but lacks the means to make that idea come to life.

I was born in Albany, Oregon, then raised in Pomeroy, Washington. My wife and I moved to the Treasure Valley in 2020 and fell in love with the area, so we decided to purchase our first home and start our family here. In the last few years I’ve dedicated my life to learning anything and everything I could about construction and, more specifically, finish carpentry. In that time the craft itself has come somewhat naturally to me. Although a lot of my time has been spent focusing on the craft, I have also dedicated this business towards amazing customer service. Our first focus at Treasure Valley Finish is not only to create the kick ass built-in, accent wall, or mud-bench; but to also focus on being an un-common contractor who has price transparency, listens to customer needs, and delivers what was promised.
